I’m a nature lover, yoga instructor, and dog mom based in the Rocky Mountains.

After pursuing a degree in speech and hearing science and communication in undergrad, fell in love with the physiology of the ear and went on to complete a doctorate in audiology and hearing science, specializing in hearing loss prevention in non-OSHA regulated populations. I started a company, Project Decibel, and was chosen to participate in two competitive accelerator programs, WiSTEM a Google accelerator for women in STEM, and Project Music an esteemed accelerator for music industry startups. It was through those experiences I was exposed to UX research and design.

I earned a certificate in UX from Designation and have since worked on solving many different types of problems across several different industries, as a consultant with Slalom Consulting, in-house corporate venture with FIS, within startups, and as a freelance design strategist. The breath of my career has taught me how to be flexible, scrappy, and how to balance business goals and engineering constraints as I unrelentingly advocated for the user. In addition to being a UX Practitioner I am also a dedicated brave culture builder and leader. I believe we achieve the best results and have the most fun when we are able to build safe, respectful, curious, and celebratory work places.

Outside of work I am a nature lover and spend every weekend I am home in the mountains camping, hiking, snowboarding, and hopefully, one day, cross-country skiing. I do a lot of yoga, and am an avid walk-taker with my partner Ryan and our pup, Riley.
